Yes, breakfast is included when you book accommodation in one of our eight schist houses. It is served every morning between 8am and 10am at the Café da Videira.

To change your reservation, please send us an email at reservas@cerdeiravillage.com. In case of cancelation, you will receive a full refund if you cancel up to 30 days before your arrival date and a 50% refund if you cancel up to 10 days before. There will be no refund for cancelations made less than 10 days before arrival or on special holidays such as Christmas, New Year’s Eve, Carnival and Easter.

Yes, our booking platform automatically applies a discount to stays longer than 6 nights.

Yes, we host an artistic residencies programme and also have special conditions for groups of artists who want to come to Cerdeira for an artistic retreat. For more information, send us an email at artandcraft@cerdeiravillage.com

We welcome your pets at the CASA DA ESCADA, the CASA DO FORNO and the CASA DA JANELA. Do not forget to add them to your reservation. We charge an extra fee of 10€ per pet and night.

Staying at Cerdeira Village

You can check in between 3pm and 10pm. Please let us know your estimated arrival time beforehand, as we do not have a 24 hour reception. After 10pm, an extra check-in fee of 10€/hour will be charged.

Free parking is available at the entrance of the village. Once parked, you will have to walk about 100m before reaching the reception. There is no vehicle traffic in the village itself.

The geographical setting of the village, on a steep hill, means that it is not easily accessible for disabled visitors. However, we have equipped the CASA DAS VIZINHAS with an accessible bathroom and a ground-floor bed and will be glad to assist you in any other way that might enable your stay or help make it more comfortable.

Lousã is an Accessible Tourism pioneer. All public buildings and facilities are accessible and it is even possible to use adapted equipment for several outdoor activities (water sports, trail running, btt, paraglider, trekking, etc). Please contact us for more information.

Yes, all houses have central heating, as well as a traditional wood burner. The first basket of wood is on us.

Yes, all kitchens are equipped with kitchen appliances, dishware, cooking utensils and a basic ingredients kit (olive oil, vinegar, sugar and salt).

In Lousã, we recommend two restaurants, Casa Velha and Burgo. At the Café da Videira, we also serve regional snacks and prepare meals if ordered in advance (ask for the menu).

There is no grocery store at the village, but we have some basic products for sale. You can also buy regional cheeses and smoked sausages, homemade jam and fresh bread baked in our wood fired oven.

You can shop for groceries in Lousã – we advise you to get everything you need before arriving in the village. You do not need to buy bottled water, as the drinking water in the village is not only safe to drink, but of exceptional quality and taste. On Tuesdays and Saturdays there is also a farmers market at Lousã, a good opportunity for buying fresh fish, fruit and vegetables.

There is no ATM in the village, the closest one is in Lousã, 10km away.

Yes, there is free wifi access in the Café da Videira.

We want to allow our visitors to take full advantage of the village and its immersion in nature. Therefore, there are no TV sets or internet connection in the houses. However, we do have board games available and a small library you are welcome to use.

The closest river beach is Nossa Senhora da Piedade, 8km away, but there are several more in the region. For more information, check our guidebook.

The village has a small natural stream pond, which you are welcome to use.
