Vasco Baltazar

Vasco Baltazar

After his degree in Industrial Design, Vasco dedicated a year to learning about creative pottery. He later deepend his knowledge with the ceramic specialists Renato Costa e Silva, in the Azores, and Noël Monmarson. He uses pottery as the basis of his work, trying to deconstruct symmetry. He cuts, sticks, adds, takes away from and stretches the clay. The kiln always adds extra individuality to every piece.
