Casa da Azeitona
Our Casa da Azeitona was designed especially for families. Decorated by Vânia Kosta and inhabited by her creations. P>
This cozy house has two floors. On the ground floor, you will find a fully equipped kitchen, an inviting dining area, a double bedroom and a bathroom. P>
On the upper floor there is a double bedroom with possibility of joining the beds and a spacious nest-shaped bed for the little ones. It has a large and cozy living space with a wood burner, an armchair, and a comfortable sofa bed. P>
This floor gives access to a terrace overlooking the valley and the lovely roofs covered with tiles and slates. An ideal space for family meals, reading a book packed with the sound of the stream or counting stars at night. P>
Like all other houses in Cerdeira Village, the Casa da Azeitona has been restored using ecological and regional materials and privileged companies in the region. All the houses have central heating and offer great comfort both winter and summer. We choose not to put television, radio or internet access so that you can fully enjoy the tranquility of this village. Next, to this house, you will find our Library where you can order books and games for the whole family. P>

Vânia Kosta works in Braga, in her atelier «Dedal no Dedo». Her cloth characters - great storytellers - inhabit so many places that also conquered this house. For the Casa das Azeitona, Vânia was inspired by her emblematic cloth figure - a Azeitona - inspired by her black cat of the same name. Her work will transport you right back to childhood!
